A Busy Saturday!

One of my favorite things in the world is sleeping late on Saturdays! Every other day, I get up at 5:30am, but Saturdays are different! This morning I slept until 8:45am (heaven!!), and woke up to these...

After starting some laundry, I took my camera around New Day to see what everyone else was doing...I found Kelsey & Kailey painting ceiling boards in The Ark!

Niki was staining wardrobes/closets for rooms in The Ark

Look - all 81 lights made it! Time for installation!!

Chad & the team worked on pouring cement in the holes and setting the fittings today!

Tracey helped Axer make a handprint in the cement

Warren making sure they are level!

Jesse helping mix the cement...by hand...

Meanwhile, Patrick got some work done too...as long as the kids weren't around! :)

Can you find him on his head??

Jesse & Chad claimed to be referees :)

Jenna & Haley are in there somewhere coloring with kids!

One of my favorite boys from the village, Kelon

And his little brother King..or Kane..depending on who you ask!

Kailey helped cook nshima!

Jesse & Tracey gave it a try too!

Mweene...who actually said a WHOLE sentence to me (in English!) this week, without being prompted!!!

More handstands!

I am busy doing some redecorating in our house! We have moved Caedmon into his own room (our former guest room), so we are doing a soccer theme for him. His room is slow-going as I still need to paint, but here is what I got done today!

I redid his letters that me & Mom did when he was born to make them look like soccer balls!

And I redid the knobs on this decoration!

Meanwhile Cason is now in his own room too, so we did a very basic Power Rangers theme (because surely he'll outgrow Power Rangers eventually....) :) Mom made the awesome curtains!

A couple of posters and a Power Rangers blanket and it looks like a new room!
