Busiest Week of the Year!

I feel like our lives have been gearing up for THIS past week for awhile now - normal kids' activities, See You at the Pole and community rally (Blu helped plan), and our annual Theatre Conference in Dallas!  To top it off, Blu's birthday was in the middle of that!  Now that all the craziness is over, I feel like it's smooth sailing from here on out!!  Here's a look at the madness!

Caedmon got a part in the HS One Act Play for next Spring!!  They went to State last year and have an amazing program!  He was blessed to be cast as a Freshman!

Another delivery to San Antonio thrown in for good measure!  These were 2 tough deliveries, so we celebrated with a Mexican cafe and Mexican cokes!

Sunday night church - I wasn't the only one there, but I'm kinda a sticker for time and it was time to start, so I was in my seat, which Blu thought was funny!  ;)

Cason got some quality time with his best bud/cousin AJ last weekend with Paw & Bmaw at the lake!

Another cross country meet in there, an hour away in Baird, TX!  It was a chaotic meet...Caedmon did well, but nobody who ran the meet had any idea how long the course was, so it was hard to tell with time and such...

These three!  Hannon, Emily, & Cambree
Mom & Dad stayed with the kids while we were gone and got them to every practice, game, etc!  They snapped this pic before the Friday night football game!

See You at the Pole - middle school!
See You at the Pole - high school!

Several churches got together and planned a Saw You at the Pole Rally for our local youth for last Wednesday night!  It was tons of fun with food and games and great music!

These three again!

Cason was proud to attend, even though he's not really a youth yet!

Caedmon rushed home from the cross country meet and made it just in time!

Uncle Robin & Brandy were there with their youth from High Mesa Cowboy Church in Brownwood!
Some Jenga with some great kids!
Still in my cross country clothes - proud of my man!
Caedmon and some of his Freshmen crew!

About 150 total were there - a great group for the first annual gathering!  Blu did an amazing job speaking!

The balance beam illustration was powerful!

After all that excitement on Wednesday night, we left at 6am on Thursday morning for Dallas for our annual Theatre Convention!  There are three different ones, but this one is probably the most important!  After being in business for 19 years, we made posters of every school we've delivered to and had people find their names on the banner.  They loved it!

Talking and talking!

And bored sometimes...

And sleepy sometimes...

They used our picture as an advertisement on the facebook page!
On Thursday, (Blu's birthday!), we realized we were actually in the same hotel as the entrance to Reunion Tower in Dallas!  I LOVE this tower and have always wanted to go up, so we did!

At the top of the tower, they have the actual couch from the filming of Friends!
And some fun games...I can't be beat at the concentration/memory game!
He tried, though!

I made my own constellation!

This is the grassy knoll, and the Texas Schoolbook Depository, where Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK from the 6th floor.
Awesome views of beautiful Dallas!

We also enjoyed some great Indian food in Dallas!
Every year, Blu's birthday I guess will fall during the Theatre Conference!  That's ok - I made him wear a "Birthday Boy" badge, and we still found ways to celebrate....like with Dickey's BBQ on GrubHub for lunch!
We went to play TopGolf for the first time that evening - fun!
Well, a LITTLE bit fun..but I did improve!

Blu warming up!
He was incredible at it...just like everything he does!
When we got home, we opened presents with the kids!  Lots of Little Debbies!
And a pony pillow from Caedmon!
He got an A&M cup, a phone/watch charging system, some books, and a new laptop bag from me!
Cambree always gets him mens' body wash!
Then on Sunday evening, we had Mom & Dad and Paw & Bmaw over for chicken pot pie and cake!
Our friend Lee made the cake - she's incredible!
His "own" tools from Paw & Bmaw!
Mama Dee made him an awesome card that was a replica of his wallet, along with a Home Depot gift card!
Here's to being 38!
It was a busy week, but it was a good week!  We are ready to start October, HOPEFULLY get some cooler weather, and keep doing what God has.called us to do!
