Sept 21-26 Fun!

Cross country - football - See You at the Pole - and more fun!

This is what Saturday mornings look like when you have an early cross country meet almost 2 hours away!

He was so tired - it took him awhile to recover!

He ran a great race in 18.35!  Unfortunately, the course wasn't properly marked for 3 miles, so we have no idea how far it actually was!

Caedmon and Ventura

Leading a little pack at one point!

Blu waiting for the race to begin...

Sunrise in Wall, TX!  We got in from the football game the night before at 10:45pm and got up at 5am for the meet!

Blu spent Friday afternoon working with Cason and his friend Aaron on a Texas History movie featuring the 4 regions of Texas - their movie poster is a preview that I'm sure leaves you dying to see the video... ;)

Mom and I attended a VERY hot pep rally Friday afternoon before the evening game to watch our Danger Dragon!

Her nostrils were knocking me out!

Sweet Mama Dee!

Thursday night, we got to watch Cason play for the first time in 7th grade football!  (Our boys both play on Thursdays, so we have to divide and conquer, and Blu watched Cason last week!). He had 3 catches for about 33 yards total and made some great tackles!

Someone commented on this picture, "Going to games never ends, does it?"  That's the truth!

Cason and one of his best friends Jensine at the Saw You at the Pole Rally

Blu organized a Saw You at the Pole rally last year with area churches in Bangs.  This year, we had another one and opted to have it at the HS stadium and had about 150 show up.  It was a great event with lots of collaborating between churches and some awesome testimonies/Bible readings/prayers from youth!  (We aren't posting many pics of this event (and other church events right now) due to COVID and the mask police.)

Looky here - Caedmon got a PR in the 3 mile at the Dublin cross country meet last week!

He was pumped with that team!  His previous PR from last year was a 21.35!

This boy LIVES on cereal.  "Caedmon, you have an early cross country meet - I need to make you some eggs or something."  "No, Mama, Apple Jacks."

This is what my house smells like 24/7 right now!

She's almost got me!!

My Grandma Marie had her 86th birthday party last weekend!  We didn't go, but I love these pictures of her laughing!

That's all for this week!  Tomorrow we celebrate Blu's 39th birthday - I sure do love that man!!

September is here...and almost gone!

I was shocked to see I hadn't blogged in 3 1/2 weeks - I even looked back through all of my pictures because I was SURE I had!  Oops!  Time flies when you're having fun back in school!
Blu has been SO busy!  For some reason, he volunteered to make pancakes from scratch for the Varsity football team before their last game!  Yikes!!

Sunday afternoons at our house...

Wednesday nights at church are SO crazy!  We pick up kids on the church bus and then spend the next 5 hours controlling chaos and teaching Jesus!

This is our back door of our house - wow!

We had some crazy weather one night and lost power for almost 12 hours!

Some seniors on the football team dropped this off at our house one night, only they got lost and put it in our neighbor's yard!

A random Sunday night where all of our kids were occupied = Chili's date night for us!

Bmaw and Paw took the older cousins out on the boat!

Pretty Bmaw!

Handsome Paw!

Studs! (Cambree was with a friend and the younger cousins were having a sleepover at AJ's house!)

Mama Dee returning from the yard where she was rescuing her Fall flowers from Percy!

Speak of the devil......

Dad headed to preach one Sunday morning - looking sharp!

So Blu lost his wallet for over a month and found it outside on our covered porch area!  It survived all of the rain!

A random Monday morning pic to send to the middle girls at New Day!

60 youth last Wednesday night at church!

Still working on building the house in Bangs - we think we're 1-2 weeks away! (I keep saying that...)

The floors were quite the project...

Paw invested in a cement mixer to pour the footings for the rock siding!

The cement here is much lighter than the bags in Zambia!

Finished product of the floors!

Kitchen is almost done!

Here's what Caedmon has been up to - homework, cross country, football, and Theatre!

I drove to Eula, TX to watch his first meet!

The Varsity Boys cross country team!

It was a tough race for him, but he got the first one under his belt!

Handsome guy!

Caleb and Matt twinning at church!

He's getting lots of driving time in!

This cutie got a haircut from Mama Dee this weekend!

She's not playing volleyball or running cross country but is gearing up for basketball season!

Fun in a dressing room :)

She doesn't really love being the mascot, but she did love it at this game when it rained and she didn't have to wear the suit!

Cambree and Hannon spent Labor Day weekend together celebrating Hannon's 15th birthday!  They spent a day in Dallas and went to the top of Reunion Tower!

Hannon and Cambree with Camille - the best role model ever for these girls!

Here comes Danger Dragon!

Cambree also was recently asked to Homecoming by Mason :)

Roasting a hot dog in my pumpkin spice candle...

Cason has been busy too - he started football season and has played one game, has a ton of homework every night, and also recently got the lead part in the middle school One Act Play!

He also managed to fit in a Sunday afternoon kneeboarding on the lake with Blu!

First middle school pep rally - looking so handsome!

He plays linebacker and fullback - go Cason!

#30 about to make a tackle to save the touchdown!

He recovered an onside kick!

He got the ball a couple of times...and got smashed!

David and Goliath!

So sweet - excited to watch him play!

And he came home and ate two HUGE waffles!
