Costa Rica - The Hot Springs

We spent most of Thursday at the Tabacon Grand Thermal Resort & Spa! It was only about 2 minutes from our hotel, but it was like stepping into another world! The rainforest was just amazing, and there were at least 20 different pools, swimming areas, waterfalls, etc. You just kept climbing up and up and finding more spots of beauty and spots of hot water! We had the best day!

Rita had bought several waterproof phone cases, so it was easy to take pictures all day long!

Back to the waterslides!

I loved this pretty view behind us so I made everyone stand in front of it ;)

Only for about 10 minutes of our 2 day trip did the clouds uncover the volcano - it was spectacular to look up and see this view!

Back at the hotel - another day, another towel animal!

The girls ended our day with a gift from Bmaw for our birthdays/Christmas - a shoulder/neck/back massage, mud facial, and foot massage!

Meanwhile, the kids played pool, foosball, and chess in the reception area.

Another supper at the restaurant - this time with live music! We all enjoyed it and thought it was an amazing day!
