EARLY this morning (we got up at 3:30am), we headed to the Houston airport for our trip to Costa Rica! Blu's brother has lived there for the past 4 years, and we were so excited to find cheap tickets and get to go and visit!
On the plane, ready to go! (We had a quick layover in Atlanta).
We were starving, and they took us to Inka's, a Peruvian restaurant. We had aji de gallina, a delicious dish of chicken, cheese/chili sauce, and rice!
Then, we went to downtown San Jose to see 2 of Cloud's 14 stores. So neat to see how they do business!
Cloud showing us the storage part of the store, and Blu pretending to steal something!
We live in a 3rd world country, and I have seen a lot of 3rd world things, but walking the streets of downtown San Jose, Costa Rica was INSANE!!
After a stop at a grocery store to pick up fun souvenirs and a Starbucks, we are hanging at their huge house as Rita cooks us enchiladas for supper! I am getting to hang with my gorgeous niece, Keys!
Rita's mom, Olga, is so sweet!
It was a great day getting to experience some of the flavor of San Jose! Tomorrow we head out to experience another side of Costa Rica - surfing, volcanos, hot springs, massages, etc. :)
