Happy Birthday Francis!

Our Francis turns 8 years old today, and we celebrated with a party yesterday! Francis has had so much heartbreak in his life - his mother died so he went to live with his father, his father died so he went to live with his uncle, his uncle died so he went to his grandmother, and his grandmother brought him here when he was 6 years old...she died 9 months later! We love Francis, and he is one that we constantly wonder what he will be someday! You have to keep your eyes on him - he is the most curious child I have ever seen and he is constantly taking something apart - phones, bathroom sinks, etc. His mind is always working, trying to figure out how other things work! He is extremely quiet and loves being by himself, but he fits in well with his New Day brothers. I love his sweet smile :)

For a treat for the kids, we bought them all ice cream for the party! They all loved it except for our newest, Mweene, who wouldn't even try it!

It was a hot day - great for some water pouring!
