It's Friday! I think I'll pack a bag today....

It's Friday again! And I'm not on a 6 hour road trip with 12 little ones! (Though I will be on a 6 hour road trip this time next week, but with the older kids!) Things are moving right along with school, construction, finances, and packing!

School is going well - it feels like we never had a break and we are nearing the middle of the school year, so knee-deep in Math work in my classes! Caedmon is plugging away at his work. He does Science with a homeschool module curriculum, has Language Arts with Dad (just finished A Wrinkle in Time!), has Math with me, but he'll finish that up next week and have a free period, and then has American History with Dad. Cambree will be busy dissecting a fish today as a Science experiment with Blu (just caught fresh this morning from the fish pond!), and Cason is busy reading, reading, and more reading!

There are so many construction projects underway, and Blu said it is tough to stay on top of everything with all of the different crews working! This week, we spent an afternoon building 14 roof trusses, so that was exhasutinghotfun!

Packing is WELL underway in my house! Most things are off the walls, and I have about 10 bags/trunks packed. Our goal is 25, but we can take more if we need to - just trying to keep it to necessities! This past week we sold the piano, sold Blu's guns, and moved out 3 pieces of furniture, so it's definitely getting emptier! We are preparing for one more massive garage sale the week before we leave, so I'm busy pricing things as well. #76days

Here's some pictures from our week!

Mother's Day gifts from my babies!

I had a pizza/brownie party at my house for Hildah's 38th birthday!

Aren't they just the cutest things?? ;)

Poor Blu pulled his quad playing soccer at Kids Club - he was in PAIN!

Daily chores...

Cambree took a road trip with Blu to Lusaka for a braces appointment! And found a creme puff!

They were also able to attend Mama Zelly's daughter's funeral, where it was HOT, there were 600 people, and Cambree decided she wanted an ice lolly. In Lusaka. Where there is cholera. #superdad

She might have gotten a little spoiled!

Shawarmas - her favorite!

A dinner date with Daddy where she taught him how to knit! Well, she tried.

May is what I call "Snake Month" around here. These puff adders were found near the Wilcoxes' house. :(

Our lives are about to get REALLY crazy these next 2 months, but this weekend ahead has NOTHING on the schedule! Well, that's not quite true. Sunday is Dad's birthday and we have some surprises for him up our sleeves!
