Shoes & Videos!

Here's what we've been up to the last few days at New Day - shoes and videos!! FBC in Atascocita, Texas did a "Shoeless Sunday" for New Day at Christmas 2011. Each member showed up to church barefoot and brought a pair of shoes...and the grand total was 722 pairs of shoes!!!! We had fun sorting them, sizing them, and we'll have more fun distributing them!

We also have Eddie (aka "Pop") here for a week from South Carolina! He is making videos for New Day for our website and to use in churches. Most of them are lighthearted and will give you a good glimpse of what life here is like for us! He & Blu have been working hard so I don't have any pics of them - seems I only see them at mealtimes!

On the horizon for this week is Machila's birthday party and a big team arriving next Monday, so lots of cooking! Temps in the 50s - 80s here - be jealous!
