Cason is 11!!

We had a blast celebrating Cason's 11th birthday this past weekend!  His birthday (Nov 24th) is almost always during Thanksgiving week or the weekend of Thanksgiving, so his parties are usually VERY small.  This year, we decided to have a laser tag/archery tag party at Boondocks, so I gave him 20 invitations and told him to "invite whoever you want."  I died laughing every time I got an RSVP from a little girl I had never heard of!  I finally asked him, "Did you invite ANY boys?!"  ;)  His party ended up 27 kids..it was chaos and craziness and he had an absolute blast!!

Brennan, Cason, and Rex singing "Indian Outlaw" karaoke with Damian looking on!

A little Archery Tag!
Cason's favorite thing, so we had a Nintendo Switch cake made!
Pizza and drinks!
ALL of them!

He never once looked up while everyone was singing to him - he was slightly overwhelmed!

Sunday was his actual birthday so we opened a few presents before church, ate lunch at Underwoods,  and opened the rest after church!  This was the latest he'd ever slept on his birthday - I finally woke him up at 8:30am!!!
He got a Rubix cube, some comic books of classic novels, new coins for his collection, an updated Monopoly game, movie, watch, woodturning kit, etc etc!
Blu picked this out - playing cards with his picture on them!

Sweetness from his brother!
Meanwhile, with Cambree's braces off, we took her to the dentist for a cleaning and she had SIX cavities!!  No more candy for her!
Making the dreaded walk upstairs to her room to purge it of all of her candy!
Hangout time with Paw!
A little back massage!
We have some family here already for the holidays - this is second cousin Isaiah who absolutely adores Cason!
We snuck in a one day trip up to Groom, TX (5 hrs away!) to deliver some unit set pieces and saw this water tower.  I said, "Man, they need to fix that!"  Upon googling, we discovered it is a famous site along Route 66 called The Leaning Tower of Texas!
This year is a little weird because we will be gone from Dec 13 - Jan 6 on our trip to Zambia, so we're missing Christmas here.  That means, since I'm hosting our family Christmas this coming Friday, the Christmas decor had to go up before Thanksgiving!
EIGHTEEN stockings ready to go!

Our kids have school on Monday and Tuesday of this week, and then we will have family time the rest of the holiday!  Cloud and family are in from Costa Rica, Grandma Marie is here, so we will get a lot of good family time in!
