Last of the Legs & Eyes!

As I said before...too many prosthetics around my house these past 2 weeks! :)
You can tell Chris is a Grandma! :)
Love this pic of Green seeing his new eye in the mirror for the first time!
Green and John
John also made an eye for this man, Zechariah.
My favorite eye patient was Edith, a 16 year old girl who was stabbed in the eye accidentally when she was a baby and her mother was chopping firewood. She loved her new eye! Unfortunately, I have NO pics of this! John, help me out! :) Here is 8 year old Arnold trying out his new leg :)
Chris fitted Arnold at his village and about 20 people showed up to watch - I felt sorry for the poor guy!
Here is Jimmy - another one of those who just took off walking on his new leg!
And last, but certainly not least, was 3 year old Luckson. Chris made a little leg for him - so cute!
LOVE this pic :) What a way to end the week!
And after ALL of that work...John & Chris are now back on a plane to the USA. Hope & Jordan (who spent a week in Paris) are also on their way home. It was amazing to see lives changed and to watch people use their God-given talents to serve Him these past 2 weeks. We cannot thank the 4 of you enough. AND...our neighbors, friends, and ministry partners, Wes & Laurie, are also on their way to the USA for a 4 1/2 month furlough to fundraise for New Day! Though we are excited for them to spend time with their families, they will DEfINITELY be missed here. But the days will stay busy at New Day - in fact, tomorrow we head on an orphan visit for a 5 year old orphan. We will visit the village, talk to the family, do a medical checkup, and see how God leads from there!
