Cloudcroft Day 3!

We woke up this morning to about a foot or more of snow and a clear day predicted ahead, so we were ready to conquer the truck and freeing it from the snow! After about 40 minutes of shoveling, the help of 2 neighbors (who both said it hasn’t snowed like this in over 30 years!), and about 5 different attempts, we were free! We headed into Cloudcroft to the police station to turn in the gun, to buy sunglasses (apparently you need those in the snow?!), and we headed to Ski Cloudcroft for a session of tubing! We had a blast, but after 2 hours of tubing, we were absolutely frozen! We headed back to our cabin while Blu headed to Alamogordo to try to get his prescription filled (he’s had staph from his spider bike for now the 3rd time...). He came back with no medicine but with 5 disk sleds for us! We spent the afternoon sledding down our driveway and making our own slopes in the woods near us! We are ending our day with burritos, taquitos, and The Goonies!
