It took me 4 hours to make his cake! Someone please remind me next year that it wasn't worth it!!! ;)
He got a Wiggles cd from his sister!
He really enjoyed this new water toy, though it took him awhile to figure it out!

The more kids you have, the more you will keep it simple:) I have a small "party" consisting of one friend over for the kids. They have cake, hot dogs/pizza and that is it. We make a big fuss over them until they're about 5 and then it is a sleepover and pizza. But we do have a big tradition of their present in bed (on the morning of their birthday) and dinner of choice. I also make them breakfast-pretty much anything they want. Joe spent three hours on a Dora cake. It wasn't worth it but wow was it beautiful:)

I think it was sooo worth it!! It's very cute and I'm sure the world to Caedmon! Esp. when he sees it when he's older, he'll better appreciate what you did!
I did a fire truck cake one year for Justin and it was hard work but, so worth it!!!
Great cake, Darbi!! Can you believe our kids are 3 already! Hope the pregnancy is going better and we are not the coolest missies in the world we will never live up to you guys that lived in a hut!!!
