Almost Spring Break!

Spring Break starts tomorrow!  We just took an awesome Sunday afternoon nap in preparation!  Here's a look at what's kept us busy the last couple of weeks!

When you're the Youth Pastor, your car gets "cookied."  Or silly stringed!

Blu, along with some help from a welder in our church, some youth, and our kids, built a GagaBall pit for our church!

The last weekend of February, we had a Winter Retreat that focused on the topic of purity.  6 different churches participated and 76 students attended - it was awesome!  Here we are playing Human Foosball out at our Baptist encampment!
Wednesday night Jr High Girls small group!
My Girls' Sunday School Class
Kesi and her sister Riki led music for our retreat
So many kids talking about so many awkward topics that aren't being taught to kids today!
Some of our awesome youth group and friends out by the fire at the encampment
Uncle Robin and Brandy brought their church group too!
These two are a lot alike - good genes!
Late night games!
How many girls can you fit into a bathroom stall?? (6..in this case)
Early morning worship with Blu & Kesi.  We got 4 hours of sleep both nights at this retreat.  SO. TIRED!

And of course, our kids' activities are keeping us busy as well!  It's Spring which means track and baseball and OAP and band concerts!

Cason had his band concert - we love our tuba player!
\

He's so shy...

So handsome!  He has a tough decision to make for 7th grade next year - band or drama?!
Speaking of Drama, Caedmon is the boy (and other small parts) in The Grapes of Wrath!  So far, they have had District Competition and advanced to BiDistrict on Mar 21st in San Angelo!

Getting set up at District!
Holding the award for advancing play!  (3 out of 8 plays advanced)

The Freshmen in the play - Isaiah on lights and Guy and Caedmon in the cast

Junior has taken Caedmon under his wing- Caedmon will miss him next year after he graduates!

Caedmon's favorite actress, Rachel :)
Cast, Crew, and Director!

This is Cason's best friend Amaya, but this is the picture that Cambree sends me from school of the two of them....what are big sisters for but to annoy you?!
Caedmon eats.  A lot.
And drinks.
We saw the end come to basketball season, but first my high school coach's team played a playoff game at Bangs, so I got to watch and visit with Mrs. Cain and with Kellie from HS!
We have all gotten older. ;)
And one last girls' playoff game watching Bangs play Merkel in Abilene!
Baseball season is here!

Love our #10!
Cam and Em :) I can't remember if I've posted this already!
Cambree decided to try out for the Varsity Mascot this year, and she was the only one who tried out!
Bri made Varsity too!
Meanwhile, we've also been attending a lot of track meets!
SO cold.  And so much sitting!
Caedmon is running the 800 and the mile and has had a PR every meet!

Cambree runs the 400!

This boy keeps us laughing!
Cason got a team together and participated (and won!) the Dodgeball Tournament at school before Spring Break!

Caedmon had his closest friends, TJ, Weston, and Malachi over before Spring Break to spend the night - they spent most of their time hiking!

Twins?!
We are spending our Spring Break week in AngelFire, New Mexico skiing!  We can't wait to get together as a family and get some REST and have some FUN in the snow!  Someone told us, "Ya'll are always gone!"  YES.  Because when our work is attached to our house, if we stay, we will work, so whenever we have a chance to get away, we take it!  :)
