Area OAP and District Tennis!

We have officially made it through the District/BiDistrict/Area rounds of all competitions and my kids are now headed to Regionals in 3 different competitions!  Caedmon will compete in Regional Tennis, Regional Academics, and Regional OAP.  Cambree and Cason will compete in Regional Academics and Regionals OAP.  Tennis is April 10-11, and Academics and OAP are April 21-22.  All are in Canyon, TX, so quite the drive for us (twice) but so worth it!  Here's a look at their advancing moments!

Road trip to West Texas for Area OAP!  A supper stop at Rocky's Burgers in Lamesa!

All Star Cast award for Cambree!

Bmaw and Cam!

After no individual awards yet this season, Caedmon got Honorable Mention at Area!

The entire cast and crew - 2nd place at Area!

Mrs. Hodges, the theater director, with the kids

The Tidwell three :)

We competed 15 min from where Blu grew up, so he got to see Mrs. Brown, his high school teacher and family friend, and one of his oldest friends Frank!

They're so old... :)

Cambree whispering/plotting with Blu..

I love their classy black and green looks!

Bmaw watched all 6 plays with me!

These two :)

And these two...

Caedmon surrounded by girls...as usual..

We spent Thursday night with Aunt JoAnn and got to enjoy her incredible house makeover!

Sweet Aunt JoAnn!

Fun pics

At Aunt JoAnn's, we took a walk up the road to the Plains Cemetery. It was beautiful and I told Blu to bury me here!  He thought that was a weird place to want to be buried. ;)

LOVE me some West Texas!

Cason chilling on the bus

A couple of days prior, we were in Sterling City, TX, watching Caedmon compete in District Tennis in Mixed Doubles!  Spoiler alert - they got 2nd in District!

Caedmon and his partner Andrea

He played two LONG (over 2 hour) matches!

For the championship, they lost the first match in a tiebreaker that went 6-8...it was such a hard battle!

We took the RV so we could get comfy between matches!

And of course, on the way home from West Texas, we had to stop at the SkyVue...the drive-in in Lamesa where we had our first (blind) date almost 25 years ago!

In other randomness...doing all the preacher/preacher's wife things going to a funeral visitation!

And a weekend trip to Oklahoma City with Cason means I got to see my two nieces at Oklahoma State!

Isabel & Abigail in their apartment

Our days look a little different. Meaning I get random pictures like this from Blu all day long.  Where is he??? I have no idea. Working hard, clearly. ;)
