Regional OAP Competition!

Our kids traveled to Amarillo at the end of last week for UIL Regional Academics and the UIL Regional One Act Play competition!  Making it to Regionals is a BIG deal!  With 200 schools in the state that are our size, it means you are in the top 24!  We had a great fan club come to watch their play!  

Robbo came from Welch, Bethany/Ethan/Gracie, and Whitney all came from Lubbock!

Bluebonnet Photo Shoot!

Last weekend we were so blessed to attend the wedding of Brindley (aka BB), our preacher's daughter from FBC Alvarado who used to babysit our kids!  She was also one of our youth, and we love her so much!  She now serves as a missionary in Vancouver, and we were so excited to hear that she found a godly husband in Lawrence!  (And we were super excited the wedding was in Texas!)  On our way home, we saw a field of gorgeous flowers in Three Way, TX, so we stopped, carefully hiked over a barbed wire fence, and had our own little bluebonnet photo shoot!  

Blu was THRILLED to take pics in the bluebonnets for the first time.

There were so many shadows across the field, so Blu would say, "Turn your head there.  There!  Don't move!!"  I felt like my head was in some crazy positions!
