Theater Conference with Cam!

We decided to attend the Texas Theater Educators Conference in Dallas this year, and when I saw that Cambree would just be hanging out at school waiting for her dual credit courses to start, I asked her to come along!  (Caedmon says that's fake). What a great chance to promote the business, do a ton of shopping, find a prom dress, and eat some awesome food!

We found a prom dress! (sneak peek - it's the blue one she has on in this pic!). We also found a Winter Formal dress, so it was a win win!

The conference was slow = Cam did a LOT of coloring!

Happy 22nd Anniversary!

We don't always go all out celebrating our anniversary!  Sometimes, it works to take a trip (especially on the "big" number years).  For a lot of years, we were ALWAYS in an airplane on our anniversary.  In October, a Facebook ad popped up, and I asked Blu if I could surprise him with a 2 night anniversary trip!  It was a BLAST!

New Years and More Randomness

Here is a random assortment of what's kept us busy the first 2 weeks of 2023!  Enjoy!

She placed 7th in her room, and only the first 6 advance to finals.  She had a tough room - 3 of the advancers ended up placing top 6 in finals!  Her afternoon session she placed 1st in her room, so she's ready to kill it next year!

Meanwhile, Caedmon is still working on the house he's building with Paw!

So this happened - miraculously Blu found the diamond under our refrigerator!!

This also happened.  A deer ran into the side of my car when I was going 65 on the highway!!  It wasn't my best couple of days, that's for sure.

These three got to reunite for an event at Heart of Texas camp!

I got to hear Blu play the drums AND preach the same Sunday - yay!

We hosted the Rec Staff from last summer's Preteen camp - a sweet group of kids from May, Early, Bangs, and Breckenridge!
