Happy 12th Birthday to Cambree!

Last weekend, we celebrated Cambree's 12th birthday! How can this be?! We celebrated with a group of friends meeting to watch Brownwood High School's production of The Newsies, and then all 13 girls came back for a sleepover, and then on Sunday (her actual birthday) we had a family party after church! Fun fun! God sure did bless us when He sent us Cambree Rain!

She won this cake in the cake walk a few weeks ago and we froze it to use for her day - it was YUMMY!

For her party, she wanted a "candy cake," so we made this a couple of weeks ago! It was a hit!

For her birthday meal, she wanted nshima. We all know she's the best cook of Zambian food, so she made her own birthday meal for everyone!

The girls loved roasting weenies and s'mores at the sleepover! For some of them, it was their first time!

That catches you up on the last couple of weeks! We are leaving today for a 3 day Theater Conference in Dallas, then we have a big out of town soccer tournament this weekend, followed by Thanksgiving with family and Cason's birthday next week/weekend! And in the midst of it all, we're staying warm in this freezing weather!
