An Update from Lusaka!

Well, hello from Lusaka! We made the 6 hour trek today (ugh...) for Cambree's first Zambian orthodontist appointment tomorrow! Hopefully they will allow us to come every 8 weeks so that we only have to make the trip every 2 months! We left at 12pm today and will get home by dark tomorrow - quick trip! (on horrible roads!!) Here is a little of what's happening at New Day!

The internet guys were there today to work on our wifi, and it seems to be up and running!!!! They offered to let Blu climb the cell tower, but he opted out..

An Indian food supper at Mahak in the capitol city with our girl! The boys stayed back with Mama Dee & Grandpa!

Probably eating chocolate...

Actually, just got this picture from Mama Dee & Grandpa..cookie dough!

Caedmon has been busy writing his Robinson Crusoe book report for Grandpa's 8th Grade Language Arts class! You can see he has some moral support next to him as he writes...

That's right...we have a pet. I know, I know. Meet Mara, who we have all fallen a little bit in love with! (Ok, maybe not Blu...)

Stuck in a tree - oh, the panic that ensued!!

Playing Integer Card War in 7th grade Math!

Mariah from Minnesota helping Cambree with her Texas History project.. in Zambia.. ;)

Our girls are growing up!! Here's Cynthia!

And Kelitah!

Trumpet practice every day at the Tidwell House from 12:15-12:45!

Cason ready for an evening wrestling competition with Caedmon!

That time a baby chameleon came to school..

My mom made these awesome outfits for her, Grandpa, and Cason (who loves to match Grandpa!)

Justin, Emma, and Stanley love being in Preschool and wearing real uniforms!

Machila has left New Day to go to boarding school for 8th-12th grades! She will be back in April, August, and December. We are so proud of her as she is attending a very good school, but we hate the fact that she is almost 3 hours away! She has left a big hole at New Day - Caedmon misses his only classmate for the last 7 years and his best friend!

The older girls' Discipleship class prayed for her before she left!
