Monday - Friday!

Another week flew by! We had a busy week, but we (think?) our lives are going to slow down for a little bit in the coming weeks! Ok, I'm probably wrong..., but here's a look at what's been keeping us busy!

The kids are obsessed with the Hunger Games and found a way to recreate the game with the help of their cousins!

Shhhh...she's hiding...

Things did not go according to plan, obviously..

What a group! I'm scared!

On Monday, we drove a couple of hours north to Granbury, TX to meet Johnny Boy, Pat, and John's sister Marie (Kelitah's sponsor) to get the gorgeous quilt that Pat made for my bed!! I have a Coca-Cola red/white/black room, and it will be perfect in there!

We had a delicious meal at Hoffbrau!

On Monday waiting to pick up the kids from school...

Tuesday was Halloween! We had a great time carving pumpkins in the shop, eating pizza, and going trick-or-treating in Bangs..in the freezing cold dark!

Caedmon came in late from football practice but still managed to carve an amazing Superman pumpkin!

Cambree created her own - cute!

Cason used a face he found online - love it!

Paw & Bmaw helped!

Dig!

Aunt Caity helped too!

Halloween cupcakes and music!

Our hunter ready to trick-or-treat!

The goddess Athena ready to trick-or-treat!

Mr. Skeleton ready to trick-or-treat!

Cousin fun!

Ready to go!

This is where we are staying this furlough - in Paw & Bmaw's house!

On Wednesday, Cambree had her first volleyball practice! She is in a 5th-6th grade local league that is playing just 8 games in a 2 week season this month - so fun!

And Blu took a nap in the parking lot waiting for practice to end...

Thursday is football day in our house! We drove an hour to Eastland to cheer on our #25!

Blu and Paw spend most of the game laughing!

Cambree enjoys being at the games!

And getting spoiled by Paw (and Bmaw!)

Checking out her brother! (and the cheerleaders!)

Cason meanwhile...climbed a tree.

Bmaw got some amazing action shots of Caedmon during the game! He plays defense - cornerback and safety and is on the kickoff and kickoff return teams. There are about 21 players on the 7th grade team.

He's looking at us in the stands!

Caed and his friend Malachi - Blu calls them the "Twin Threats!" (They are both SOOO little!)

Run!

Caed has loved Coach Beau this season.

These coaches have done a great job with the boys!

Ready for kickoff!

And...it's still like 90 degrees in November..

So proud of him! I told him as I picked him up from the school later that night and he came out with his backpack and trumpet and about 40 other boys that I was SO proud of him. 3 months ago, he didn't know any of these kids, but he's plugged right in, made friends, joined sports and band, made amazing grades, and just figured out this whole public school thing like a champ!

On the way home, Coach Beau stopped the bus to make Caedmon take a picture by this giant soup can! He text me the pic the next day - too funny!

On Friday, the kids had just half a day of school, but Bmaw took me on a birthday outing to town for a pedicure, manicure, sushi, and some shopping! We spent 4 hours there and had a blast!

I blogged early this week because we have a very busy Saturday with Cason's last soccer game and his 9th birthday party!
