Day Three in Paris was another adventurous day! Caedmon was released from the hospital at 10am and we hit the city again, since our flight wasn't until 9pm that day. Caedmon did great and had no pain from his "surgery," but it was still a LONG day!
Blu started the day by saying, "What's the worst thing you could think that could happen today??" Part of the Paris subway system was closed for renovations! That meant lots of bus rides and lots of waiting at bus stops...
We ended up at the Bastille where we found an awesome sidewalk cafe!
A book corner inside the cafe
I got tomatoes with mozzarella & baguettes - yum!
Cappuccino - yum!
Then we took a long walk down some Paris streets...
After walking to the wrong park, getting VERY hot and tired, and finally getting a taxi, we ended up at the Luxembourg Gardens!
The park had an amazing playground!
Caedmon (one day after surgery!) made it up to the "Eiffel Tower"
Caedmon went round and round and round!!
This carousel was built in 1898!! It is a traditional brass ring carousel and the kids LOVED it!!
Striking a pose :)
Then it was time for pony rides in the park!
Cason was fearless - no hands!
We found a subway that worked to head back to our hotel to get our luggage and catch our flights!
Yes, Cason did lose his shoes somewhere on the Paris playground...
We dashed back to the airport and caught our flight back to London, where we stayed in an airport hotel and flew to the USA the next day! We were (are!) exhausted, but so happy to be here! I have tons more to post - a Paris trip review, and pictures of the mission house in Early!! It is AMAZING and we are so blessed! Right now, our internet options are at grandparents' house or at McDonalds, so be patient with my blogging! :)
