A Day in Genoa

Our day in Genoa and Camogli, Italy was absolutely perfection!  We loved the sights, the vibe, and the quaintness of it all!

A fruit store for Cambree!

Genoa is known for its carruggio - narrow medieval style streets!

It was so awesome!

I loved this statue!

The Cathedral of San Lorenzo is known for its black and white zebra style

It was beautiful!

So much more massive than a picture shows!

This part of Italy is famous for its focaccia bread!

Gorgeous fountain in the heart of the city!

This was our view from our cruise balcony of Genoa!

We took a 45 minute train ride to the seaside village of Camogli

It did NOT disappoint and was easily my favorite part of the trip!

No wonder Europeans are healthy!

A pebble beach - so awesome!

Gelato!

Bruschetta for lunch!

Families were having picnics on the pebble beach - it was so sweet!

Maybe we should retire here.. ;)

The most gruesome depiction of the beheading of John the Baptist!

Flowers!

Italy is known for its Christmas fairy tale about a witch named Befana!

Genoa is also known for its pesto, so we had to stop and buy some at a pesto store!

The best cappuccino!

Christopher Columbus birth place

Porta Soprana

So. Tired. More. Steps.

At the train station in Camogli

We somehow even ended up walking by a Befana parade!

My favorite picture of the trip!

A Gelato + Nutella + Coffee dessert!
