Cloudcroft Day 2!

Well this day has been full of adventure! Our plan was to go to Ski Cloudcroft for tubing and skiing, but the snow started coming down at about 7am, and it hasn’t let up 10 hours later! I have no idea how to estimate how much snow we’ve gotten, but I’ll say maybe a foot? We are officially stuck, but we have plenty of food, drinks, games, tv, and adventurous spirits! We have spent hours outside walking to the general store, exploring trails, attempting to sled, and just having fun! The biggest adventure of the day is when Caedmon found a loaded handgun in the snow. Yikes! We’ll be making a trip to the local PD tomorrow with that! We are settling in with some lasagna and A League of Their Own for the night and hoping we can get out tomorrow!
