Last September, my sister and her family moved from Zambia to Gaborone, Botswana, when my brother-in-law took a different assignment with the IMB. Gaborone is about the same distance away from us (16ish hours) as their previous home in Zambia, so we planned a road trip in April, squeezed between school getting out and our Prosthetic team! So on Saturday, we headed out for the first leg of our trip, a quick 3 hour drive to Livingstone!
We made it as far as our bridge...and found a beer truck stuck in the middle. *sigh*
So once we got "unstuck" from the bridge (we walked our luggage across and hopped into the minibus), Dad got "stuck" in the Choma gas station bathroom!
We stayed at our favorite (cheap) Chapa Classic Lodge and went for a swim! And games!
And pedicures!
And ended the night with a delicious supper at Kubu Cafe, and a malawi shandy of course! :)
