Caedmon had his District Cross Country meet on Monday in Dublin, Texas! Here he is with Coach Wilson!
So proud of him - he had a great season!
It seemed like each week it got hotter and hotter!
His hair still looks good - even after 2.1 miles!
His team got 3rd place in District, so he got a medal! He (and his siblings...) were so proud of that medal!
He and his cousin, Andie, built this deer blind, so on Monday we (not me...) got it all set up out on the land!
Tuesdays we're home alone while Blu has his class, so we had a little fun doing nails!
And trying on Halloween costumes...
And watching tv!
Wednesday is the day we'd been waiting for....Cambree's braces!
Ready to go in!
She was SO funny - she kept trying to talk and had everyone in there laughing!
Such a beauty!
On Thursday, Caedmon had some kind of stomach bug and missed school (and his football game!!) Thankfully, it was short-lived...
Stay home = get put to work by Daddy!
Caedmon being sick gave Cason the opportunity to attend his Thursday soccer practice!
We had NO plans for Friday evening, so we randomly decided to drive to the lake (2 miles) and put the boat in for a couple of hours!
Almost too cold for the tube...but not quite!
Ok maybe a little...
We kept yelling, "Slower!!!"
Love my boy!
Love the boat driver too!
Posing in front of Flagship Inn, where my parents spent their honeymoon in June 1973!
My life :)
It got a little cool and windy when the sun went down!
A sleep-late Saturday!
And then a soccer game! Go Cason go!
This is Cason's goal - he kicked it from there between two defenders and scored!
After the game, we drove 4 hours to
Blu and the boys went out to the fields to watch Andrew harvest (thrash) his peanut crop!
Ben and Blu! (Ben and Robbie are my best friend Whitney's parents, my 2nd family, and my parents' best friends!)
Cason and Noah had a blast together!
Cambree's dream..to try on a cheerleading uniform!
Me and Robbo!
Chocolate pie...enough said.
You know someone loves you when they have framed pictures of your family and your sister's family in their guest bedroom!
On Sunday morning, we headed to Lubbock to share at the church Ben pastors! First, some pre-church pictures!
The cotton fields are getting so pretty!
We had a great time attending Sunday School, church, and then eating a delicious meal before speaking!
Whitney and her daughter, Hannah, spent the morning with us as well!
Sharing about New Day!
Me and Whitney...and our daughters!
Thank you for the wonderful time this weekend, Ben and Robbo! We love you!
After a 4 hour drive home that consisted of reading Hunger Games together, doing homework, and practicing for UIL events, we arrived in Brownwood just in time for a family cookout!
Shade gives Caity a high five on the meat! #welovemeat
Another fun week....with another VERY FUN week/weekend coming up...can't wait! :)
