Here is a look at our last week, in pictures!
On Monday, we moved out of our cute little mission house! It has been hard being far from the kids' school and from Blu's parents' house, so when they offered to move into their bunkhouse and let us stay in their house, we finally said yes! This house has been such a blessing to us, and we know it will bless someone else!
Tuesdays are crazy for us. Blu has his Perspectives missions class from 6-9, Cason has soccer, and of course they have homework, etc. I ended up eating supper alone on the porch! :)
On Wednesday, Caedmon had another cross country meet - this time in Goldthwaite, Texas! Here he is trying to not let his best buddy, Malachi, pass him!
I love watching him run!
Cambree is his biggest fan!
He improved his time by another 50 seconds! He was TIRED. :)
I got to see my basketball coach from 8th-12th grade - Coach Cain!
Cason wasn't impressed with it all (he climbed a tree during the race), but he did like his Root Beer and corn dogs afterwards!
On Thursday, we switched sports to football! Again, she is his biggest fan!
Cambree and her Bmaw!
We had a nice family evening Friday! We played some basketball, grilled steaks, played some soccer, and sat around the campfire!
It's Fall ya'll! And still 100% humidity!!!
Cambree helped with the steak rub!
On to Saturday - soccer day! Yep, this is pretty much our life right now!
Caedmon & Cambree served as photographers for Cason's game! They lost, but Cason scored a goal!
We all love the many faces of Cason during soccer games!
After getting the kids settled, Blu & I loaded up to head to Dallas for a date night before speaking in Oklahoma on Sunday! We stayed in the fancy Hilton Anatole hotel for free using our Delta Skymiles!
A little out of our league!
We watched a little Aggie football and then got ready for the Faith Hill and Tim McGraw concert that we bought tickets to almost a year ago!
Room service for supper!
We enjoyed the concert, but we are definitely getting old, because we thought it was too loud and loved all the old music more than the new!
On Sunday morning, we got to sleep in before making our way to Oklahoma! IHOP for breakfast for the win!
Gingerbread hot chocolate makes me happy! Even if it feels like summer outside, it can still taste like Christmas!
We found a chocolate factory, so we had to stop!
We took a little detour into Chickasaw National Park and found a hiking trail!
Once in Purcell, Oklahoma, we got to visit with Keith & Sandy Huddleston (Muchoni's sponsors) for a light supper before heading to church!
We had some travelers come and see us in Purcell! Carol and her sister drove down from the Tulsa area - so great to see Nurse Carol!
Dayla from OBU and her friend Molly made the drive too!
Sweet Mrs. JoAnn, who sponsors Christina!
We had a great week! We are on the road, should get to Brownwood about 12:30am, and then we'll wake up and do it all again!
