The last few days have certainly been adventure-filled! We enjoyed a fabulous day in Lusaka of shopping, eating, movie watching, coffee drinking, and World Cup cheering! The next day, however, was interesting. Our team's flight was delayed by 2 hours, which meant an extra night in Lusaka. We opted for a campground outside the city, but we didn't get there until about 9pm, because NONE of team's luggage arrived, plus another 4 of the Cooks' bags!! Blu & a few others dropped us off at the campground and turned back around to head to the airport to see if the luggage had arrived on the next flight. It had (minus 2 bags), so we got up at 5am and headed to New Day, arriving at 11am. We had to make sure we were back in time for the first day of VBS! After all of that chaos/excitement/drama/adventure, we had a great afternoon at VBS with 117 kids from the villages! My camera died about 15 minutes in, but here are a few pics of the day!
