Before I get to Thanksgiving...or to our LAST Fall birthday celebration...I need to share a few pre-holiday activities we've been up to!
Caedmon started basketball! Unfortunately, we had to miss his first game due to a conference, but Cambree took some great pics and videos for us!
Sierra got a picture for us too!
Cambree got moved up to A team and has had 2 games so far!
Get that rebound girl!
Our daily chalkboard signs.. ;)
We're still talking about The Newsies over here...
So Blu and I spent 3 days at the Thespians Festival in Grapevine, Texas, talking to students and teachers and promoting unit sets and wraps!
This is Blu's "We ate at a vegan cafe..." face!
Getting all set up!
Ready for the 8,300 students and their theater teachers!
We enjoyed some good big city restaurants...like Red Lobster!
I got to go eat lunch with Cason the other day - fun!
I dropped lunch off for Caedmon but wasn't cool enough to sit with him. ;)
We also had an awesome Veterans Day celebration at the middle school that was put on by the Student Council. Since Cambree is on Student Council, she had some speaking parts and also got to hold the Air Force flag!
And when it was freezing cold the other night, we decided to make a little video!
While we were at the conference, Cambree got spoiled with shopping, skating, and a play with Bmaw!
A new outfit and going to see Tarzan!
Caedmon went to the skating rink too!
We went straight from the conference to an all-day soccer tournament in Granbury for Cason - 4 games!
It was COLD for that last game!
After all of that, we had a restful Sunday where we unpacked, did laundry, and crashed, and then we got word that Cloud and his family were surprising us the next day with a visit from Costa Rica! We had lots of good meals together and sat around the fire a lot!
Rita, Caity, and me!
We have also been busy working on the foundation of Mom & Dad's house...lots of rock and heavy beams!
I had fun with the jackhammer!
But then I snuck away for a pedicure with Mama...
Fun on the trampoline with cousins!
And now.. on to Thanksgiving!
