Today is the inauguration of President Lungu in Zambia, so we were given a rare day "off!" Here's a glimpse of what goes on at New Day on a day "off...."
But first, a glimpse of Sunday...Chad & Gil arrived from Bartlett and jet lag hit them hard during church on Sunday morning!!
Mom & Dad taught Sunday School - check out the new church roof!
My Sunday morning breakfast...made by Blu.. :)
A new flag, brought by John Brinkley, goes up!
And back to the day off....
A guy digging a trench hit a water line...
Caedmon hard at work on Cambree's clubhouse door!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and muscle time!
Sweet Jacey at the Ark
Dad & Gil working on shelving units
Chad & Blu trying to dismantle a walker
They needed some muscle...insert Dad... :)
Watching this man receive his new leg and then unwrap the homemade knee wrap he has been using to crawl around was amazing!
I love the "fittings" day and seeing people walk for the first time with their new leg!
3 year old Rhoda got a new leg to help her walk with her club foot! These were her first ever steps!
Meanwhile, the kids are coming over in groups for some jumping time!
So...not much of a day off, but lots of work getting done and amazing things happening around here!
