Pray for Precious

This has been a busy week - dentist appointment, speaking at Central Texas Christian School chapel, speaking at Howard Payne University Missiology class - but in all honesty our hearts are back at New Day with our sweet Precious. She has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks, and she is not doing well. The latest diagnosis we have is a congenital heart defect that she was born with. There is fluid around her heart, her lungs, her feet and neck are beginning to swell, and her heart rate is too fast. She is being treated by an American pediatrician, but unfortunately the doctor said there is not much she can do for her in Zambia. She is too sick at this point to travel to Lusaka or even further like South Africa. Please pray for Precious. Pray specifically for her condition to stabilize so that we could get her the care she needs. We love this little girl.
