Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas from Temple, Texas! The kids woke us up bright and early (5:57am...) to open presents, but we started with the Christmas Story from the Bible and the Old Testament prophecies!

Santa brought each of them bluetooth speakers!

We had fun opening gifts and waited until everyone was done to take a pic of them with their presents!

I love my new Patjamagrams from Blu!

Time for stockings!

My mom puts together a pretty table! This was my Grandma's china. We had ham, mashed taters, deviled eggs, yeast rolls, broccoli salad, and a veggie tray! And pecan pie and blackberry pie of course!

And now it's naptime - Grandpa is enjoying his new hammock!

Christmas Eve in Temple!

We have had a great time here in Temple enjoying this amazing weather and getting ready to celebrate the birth of our Savior!

Baking Christmas cookies for Santa!

We went caroling at a woman's house who is 97 years old with dementia - 4 minutes after we sang, she told someone, "No, they didn't sing for me!!" :)

Poor Daddy has a mini-stocking this year!

Cason took a picture of me right when I woke up...notice the coffee AND Spark!

Pictures before the Christmas Eve service

Our last time at Ocker Brethren Church this furlough and with Mama & Daddy for...who knows how long!

Teacher Carolyn's dad made it to the service!

Our last time to hear Dad preach in the USA???

Teacher Carolyn!

The kids spent the first night here out in the hammocks - they made it until 12:30am!

Visiting on the back porch...with coffee.. :)

And we can't forget our traditional furlough pic with Santa at Temple Mall!
